Isaiah promises a coming Spirit-filled King who will turn away God’s anger and gather a people for himself from all nations through a new exodus. In response, we are to sing his praises and declare him to all nations. Jesus is the promised Spirit-filled king who turns away God’s anger and inaugurates God’s perfect kingdom.
